One of the Virtual Operating Room’s most successful and effective services has been the development and implementation of Symposiums delivered live via web and satellite. One of our most successful presentations was from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. We delivered lecturers and their Powerpoint messages live over the internet. We also incorporated live video from the Cardiac Surgical Suite at St. Joseph’s which included live interactivity between the Symposium Participants in the hospitals conference center and the operating room. All of this was broadcast live on the internet and allowed web viewers to ask questions through e-mail.
